We are looking for anorganized team player with excellent communication, attention to detail,and ability to prioritize. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Safelyoperate industrial sewing machines and prepare machines by changingneedles and thread, oiling and changing bobbin, and securingattachments. This includes automatic Box & X sewing machines andstandard industrial sewing machines. Safely operate machinery includingautomatic feed cutter, handheld hot knife, slide track rotary cutter,pneumatic grommet machines, pressurized die press, grinder to sharpenscissors, chop saw, band saw. Operate computer program for automatedmachines that can mark and cut material orders. Safely operate varioustypes of equipment to move material and orders including hand palletjacks, hydraulic lift, carts and dolly. Forklift experience helpful, butnot required. Operate hand tools including scissors, drill, hand press,hand clamps. Hand cut a variety of materials in various departmentsbased on prints or patterns. Draw or create patterns. Follow prints andwritten instructions with excellent attention to detail. Sewing productstogether with a wide range of materials. Meet delivery deadlines byworking with the team to ensure products are made correctly, with goodquality and meet production goals set by manager. Prepare and packagecompleted orders for shipments or deliveries. Monitor material inventoryand place order requests as needed to ensure an efficient productionworkflow. Maintains a clean and organized work area with safety being apriority. OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Excellentattention to detail and quality control. Basic math skills includingaddition, subtraction, multiplication, division and fraction to decimalconversion with provided conversion chart. Basic knowledge of geometryand geometric calculations preferred. Read a tape measure in feet andinches to 1/8
