Mechanical Engineer IV - Energy

About the PositionPond is seeking a Mechanical Engineer IV to join our Energy Mechanical team in Atlanta, GA. While this role will primarily support DoD and commercial aviation fueling projects, our team also delivers work across a variety of markets, including oil & gas, power delivery, renewables, and this role, you will play a key technical role-leading design efforts, guiding junior engineers, and serving as a subject-matter resource on complex mechanical and fueling systems. This position is ideal for engineers who are ready to take on increased responsibility in project execution, coordination, and technical leadership.Qualifications- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering- 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, ideally in consulting or design for fueling, energy, or industrial projects- Demonstrated ability to lead mechanical design packages, coordinate with multiple disciplines, and deliver high-quality engineering solutions- EIT required; PE strongly preferred (or ability to obtain in the near term)- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging clients and stakeholders- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipAdditional Skills (Preferred)- Extensive experience with fueling system design for DoD facilities, military airfields, or commercial aviation terminals- Strong background in piping systems, storage tanks, hydrant fueling, and related mechanical infrastructure- Experience performing or overseeing hydraulic analysis, system simulation, stress analysis, and equipment sizing- Ability to interpret and develop technical specifications, lead QA/QC reviews, and mentor junior staffPleaseu00a0Applyu00a0at:u00a0[
