Description of Job This position provides supervision and direction in collaboration with the SOTMP Administrator for SOTMP Programs at Fremont Correctional Facility, Denver Womenu2019s Correctional Facility, Denver Reception and Diagnostic Center, Arkansas Valley Corrections facility, and Colorado Territorial Correctional Facility per the SOMB guidelines maintaining delivery of SOTMP services, assuring compliance with mental health practices and ethics in conjunction with SOMB standards and guidelines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Provides leadership and vision for the Sex Offender Treatment & Monitoring Programs (SOTMP) in collaboration with the SOTMP Administrator. + Supervises, organizes, reviews, and evaluates the work of all SOTMP staff for competency and efficiency, directly or through subordinate supervisors. + Maintaining the standard of care for the SOTMP program or work unit assigned by verifying compliance with the Sex Offender Management Board Standards and Guidelines and applicable mental health standards with collaboration and coordination with the SOTMP Administrator. + Collaborate with other clinical program administrators regarding the behavioral health needs of inmates; providing consultation in offense specific risk assessment, clinical interviews, and diagnosis; participate in support education and In-Reach meetings on a periodic basis. + Acts as a consultant and provides training to facility, community, and state service providers on issues related to treating incarcerated offenders with sex offenses. + Collaborate with SOTMP Administrator to supervise the identification, treatment and continuity of care for inmates with sexual offenses and histories of sexual offending behaviors, including: development and management of Track I, Track II and Track III treatment programs. + Participate as part of the SOTMP management team to resolve issues and further develop policy, clinical standards, and procedures. + Work with the SOTMP administrator and trainer to ensure all clinical staff training are updated. + Define the programs and treatment methodology for sex offender services by developing staffing plans, decision items, Zero Based Budgets, strategic plans, management plans, therapist manuals, and other reports as directed by the Assistant Director of Clinical and Correctional Services and Chief of Behavioral Health Services. + Write and manage grants to implement model demonstration programs for sex offenders. + May be required to travel to other facilities. + Other duties as assigned. OR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: + Applicant must have a combination of relevant education from an accredited institutionAND professional experience as defined above, equal to nine (9) years.
