Laboratory Assistant Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $19.29 - $26.90 an hour - Full-Time Evenings, 40 hours per week. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support daily lab operations. This role includes patient interaction, order entry, phlebotomy (venipuncture and capillary for all ages), specimen collection and processing, drug screen and breath alcohol testing, and paternity sample handling. Youu2019ll also assist with clerical duties, data entry, and use of laboratory information systems. All new support staff employees will enter as Level 1 support staff. Responsibilities: u2022Responsible for collection and processing of laboratory specimens. u2022Able to perform phlebotomy procedures as required by position. u2022Responsible for accurate data entry and reporting. u2022Provides excellent customer service. u2022Performs laboratory testing including reporting of results and quality control in assigned areas of the laboratory. u2022Urine Drug Screen collection. u2022Breath Alcohol testing. u2022Rapid Strep screens.
