Material Handler

Job Title: Material Handler Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. This role involves handling various materials, ensuring their accuracy and delivery, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to perform tasks independently or as part of a team. Responsibilities + Load and unload materials from incoming and outgoing trucks. + Verify the accuracy of all incoming raw materials. + Label and move materials to designated storage locations. + Make appropriate entries in the computer system. + Deliver materials to equipment following outlined procedures. + Maintain scrap bin levels and coordinate with vendors for emptying. + Keep the outside scrap bin area clean and free of metal debris. + Shear materials to specific dimensions. + Assist in packaging products when necessary. Essential Skills + Minimum one (1) year of experience operating a forklift. + Ability to drive a 26u2019 truck for local deliveries + Basic math skills. + Experience with production, assembly, hand tools, and manufacturing. + Experience with fast-paced and repetitive work, meeting production quotas. + Experience with sheet metal, metal fabrication, blueprint reading, press brake, and machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Quick learner with strong attention to detail and highly motivated. + Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. + Ability to work independently or within a team environment with little supervision. + Willingness to work overtime. + Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
