The application supports critical customer journeys including billing, payments, promotions, plan management, and adding/removing lines.The opportunity: Lead end-to-end manual testing for a large-scale telecom mobile application (iOS & Android) Own QA strategy, test planning, test execution, and defect management for releases Understand complex telecom business flows such as billing, invoicing, promotions, plans, and line management Review requirements, user stories, and designs to identify test scenarios and risks early Coordinate with Product, Development, Business, and Release teams Ensure test coverage for functional, regression, smoke, UAT, and exploratory testing Track defects, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution Mentor and guide QA team members, assign tasks, and review test artifactsThis position description identifies the responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.What you need: 10+ years of experience in QA, with 4+ years in a QA Lead role Strong expertise in manual testing of mobile applications (iOS & Android) Hands-on experience testing telecom domain applications Deep understanding of billing, payments, promotions, plans, and line management workflows Experience testing high-volume, customer-facing applications Strong knowledge of test design techniques and SDLC/STLC Expertise in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) Ability to create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience coordinating QA activities across multiple releases and environments Primary Skills Mobile app testing (Manual) Telecom domain knowledge QA leadership and team mentoring Test planning and execution Defect management and reporting Regression and UAT testing Cross-functional collaboration Risk-based testing approach Good to Have (Optional) Exposure to API testing (Postman or similar) Basic understanding of mobile automation frameworks (even if not hands-on) Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines from a QA perspective Experience testing apps with millions of active usersCompensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.Role Location: WashingtonCompensation Range: $81,000-$121,500
