We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsAs a EKG Registered Nurse, you will support the RN Supervisor of in-house EKG operations South Austin Medical Center and associated Free Standing Emergency Rooms. You will assist in EKG database management. You willassist with EKG acquisition and education within the hospital and outpatient clinic. You will assist with patient referrals,registrationand order entry. You willensure all EKG carts across the hospital and clinic settingscomply withestablished qualitystandards. You will helpresolve concerns of staff, ancillary departments, patients, physicians, and families. What qualifications you will need:Experience 1-3 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting -preferred Experience in EKG databases (Heart Suite, Epiphany) -preferred Education Associatesof Science in Nursing (ADN) -required Bachelorsof Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred Licenses and Certifications Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within90 daysof hire Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationrequiredper St. David’s Healthcare policy St. David's South Austin Medical Center, which is part of St. David's HealthCare.
