Description Specialization:Internal MedicineJob Summary:Join our dynamic Internal Medicine Residency Program at HCA Medical City Healthcare in Arlington as a Chief Medical Resident/ Junior Faculty. This one-year leadership role combines education, patient care, and program administration—ideal for physicians interested in academic medicine, leadership development, and fellowship preparation.Qualified Candidates:Successful completion/graduation at an ACGME accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and is in good academic standing by June 30, 2026. The candidate must not currently be engaged in a Match agreement with another program through the 2026 Match cycle.Active BLS and ACLS certification is required.Active Texas Medical License and DEA License is required. Must be board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.ResponsibilitiesClinicalSupervise residents and students in the primary care outpatient or inpatient internal medicine clinicSupervise residents and students on the inpatient ward service (once a month, if needed)EducationalTeach residents in formal didactic settings, including morning report, simulation lab, and board review lecture seriesAdministrativeParticipate in recruitment, program improvement, schedules, coaching/mentoring, administrative meetings, and resident promotionThe program is approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for 90 Internal Medicine residents and currently has six PGY-3 chief residents managing day-to-day rotation schedules and centives/Benefits Package:In addition to unmatched potential for flexibility and career growth and a competitive salary with incentives, a comprehensive benefits program is available for full-time colleagues.
