Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail.As a On Call Dispatch Officer, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as a security operations centers, call centers, parking gatehouses, etc.What’s in it for you:Site Location: Richmond, VASet schedule: Full-Time 40 Hours A Week, Days & Shifts are TBA currentlyCompetitive hourly wage of $27.00/Hour(DailyPay is available for GardaWorld employees!)A comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off (PTO) policy, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance optionsCareer growth opportunities at GardaWorldUniform provided at no costESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position.Other duties may be assignedSRO's will be assigned to train at 3 locations extending across the Greater Richmond area.Shifts of 8 - 12 hours Must be able to accept last-minute assignments due to call-offs or No Call No Shows Handle calls for service; intake of media and emergency callsComplete daily reporting; incident Report input and approvalNotification elevation, upon approval; mass notification/EverbridgeConduct travel security reviewsRed Tag/Hot Works reportingEnsure timely and effective response to incidents, alarms, notifications, calls, and other activities related to the Security Operations Center and its role as a central alarm monitoring stationReceive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, outside vendors, law enforcement, and the security field force via telephone, automated alarm monitoring and radio systemsProcess and evaluate information received from all available sources, and respond with the appropriate communication and dispatch proceduresCoordinate with Security Operations Center staff to provide necessary documentation in support of uniformed guard force activity (e.g., Officer Dispatch, Incident Reporting, etc.)BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
