Corporate Accounting Manager

The Corporate Accounting Manager will work alongside the Assistant Corporate Controller and lead a team of accountants to drive financial accounting excellence and transformation. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure accuracy and timeliness in month-end close, consolidation, and reconciliationsLead daily accounting operations, including review of journal entriesDrive process improvements and automation initiativesEstablish and monitor KPIs fro team performanceCommunicate effectively in meetings of various sizes, influencing and negotiating as neededManage direct reports, providing coaching, career development, and performance managementMaintain flexibility to support critical deadlines and business needsSupport special projects and system implementationsManage and execute large-scale projects and initiatives with diverse stakeholder groups to successful completionDevelop and maintain collaborative partnerships across divisions, functions, and organizations with varied interestsReinforce positive culture and engagement of teamBachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplineMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience within corporate or multi-entity environments (fixed asset and lease accounting a plus)Minimum 2 years of supervisory/leadership experienceProven ability to drive tasks to resolution and completionDemonstrated project management skills, including experience planning and executing multiple projects simultaneously end-to-endHighly organized, analytical, and comfortable balancing strategy with hand-on executionCPA preferredPublic accounting experience in audit preferredThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature of work being performed.
