If you’re ready to elevate your career with a company that values craftsmanship, teamwork, and continued growth, we’d love to hear from you!Job ResponsibilitiesBoiler Installation & System SetupInstall, replace, and commission residential boiler systems, including steam, hot water, and high-efficiency unitsConfigure and optimize hydronic heating systems, including piping, pumps, zone controls, and ventingPerform system start-up, testing, and calibration to ensure safe and efficient operationLeadership & OversightServe as the lead technician on installation projects, directing team members and coordinating onsite workflowTrain junior installers on proper techniques, safety procedures, and installation standardsTechnical TroubleshootingDiagnose and resolve issues related to boilers, burners, controls, and overall system performanceIdentify potential installation complications and recommend effective solutionsCustomer InteractionClearly explain boiler replacement or installation processes to homeownersProvide system operation guidance and ensure customer satisfaction upon project completionDocumentation & Software UseUse Service Titan software (or similar platforms) to document installation details, track materials, and update job statusMaintain accurate and organized records in compliance with company and regulatory standardsSafety & ComplianceEnsure all installations meet local, state, and national mechanical and building codesAdhere to strict safety protocols for equipment handling, combustion safety, and jobsite practicesProduct Expertise & RecommendationsProvide expert recommendations on boiler types, efficiency options, and system upgradesStay informed on emerging technology, energy-efficient equipment, and industry best practicesQualifications10 years of experience installing and commissioning HVAC/boiler systemsStrong working knowledge of hydronic systems, steam systems, venting, circulators, controls, and pipingExperience leading installation teams or serving in a senior installer roleAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer specificationsLicensing- Valid HVAC or related license in the state of New Jersey is preferredEPA Certification-EPA Type II or Universal CertificationrequiredGas piping certification or equivalent experience strongly preferredExperience with Service Titan or similar service-management software is a plusOther RequirementsExcellent communication and customer-service skillsStrong problem-solving ability and attention to detailLeadership mindset with the ability to mentor and support team membersProfessional, reliable, and safety-focusedValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, basements, crawlspaces, and other residential environmentsBenefitsMedical, Prescription, Dental, and Vision Insurance - Comprehensive coverage with low out-of-pocket costsDisability & Term Life Insurance - Financial protection for you and your family401(K) with Company Matching - Strong retirement savings supportOngoing Training & Professional Development - Continued learning through Apex Service PartnersPaid Holidays & PTO - Generous paid time off for work-life balanceJoin Our Team!If you’re a seasoned boiler installation expert looking to lead high-quality projects with a respected and supportive company, Chapman Bros. invites you to apply today.
