ABOUT THE POSITIONVHB’s growing Providence, RI office is seeking an Entry Level Site/Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team and learn how to design and permit all kinds of challenging and rewarding projects. ResponsibilitiesWork within a team of professionals in developing site civil engineering plans and specifications for a multitude of complex land development projectsCivil engineering design and permitting of residential, industrial, hospitality, institutional and commercial sites including grading and drainage, utilities,roadways and parkingPreparing plans and reports in support of State and local permittingSkills & AbilitiesExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsSelf-motivated with strong desire to learn and growThrives in a team environmentAbility to think critically and creativelyQualificationsBS in Civil Engineering or related field0-1 years of engineering experienceAutoCAD, HydroCAD and StormCAD experience (preferred)Competent with Microsoft Office products We are VHB!We’re an inspired and innovative team of engineers, scientists, planners, and designers who partner with clients in the transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy industries, as well as federal, state, and local governments.
