Graphic Design Intern

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to support our team in Houston, Texas (TX)!The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and possess strong organizational skills, while also demonstrating the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Our interns benefit from hands-on experience, technical training, and mentorship opportunities. As a valuable addition to our team, you will support developing document design/layout, presentation graphics, exhibits and renderings, custom print pieces, and more.In progress of obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related major within the next 12-24 monthsWorking knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator, Acrobat Pro)Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) on Windows operating systemExcellent design and layout skillsWorking knowledge of typographyAbility to work in a team and collaborate with othersStrong attention to detail and dedication to professional qualityExceptional written and verbal communication skillsTravel (driving) to other offices within the region as neededPlease submit digital work samples or online portfolio with your application.At Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
