Kimley-Horn's Greenwood Village, Colorado (CO) office is seeking an Experienced Electrical Engineer or Analyst with 1+ years of experience to join their Power Delivery team!Design of Power Delivery Infrastructure systems, including transmission lines, distribution lines, and substationsParticipate on project teams in an active production roleParticipate in project meetings internally and externally with clientsPreparation of project specificationsPreparation of conceptual and detailed calculations contributing to creation of construction documents and specificationsDaily interaction and collaboration on cross-functional teams across multiple disciplinesCoordination and verification of as-built drawingsPerform quality work that promotes client retentionResponsible for the development of reports and design documents for various projects1+ years of design experience in transmissions, distributions, or communication line designHolds Engineer-In-Training (EIT), Engineer Intern (EI), or the ability to obtain within 6 monthsUnderstanding of the National Electric Safety Code (NESC), Rural Utility Service (RUS) Electrical Bulletins, ASCE-7, or California General Order 95, and other ASCE/IEEE/CIGRE standardsTransmission Line Modeling (PLS-CADD, PLS-Pole) experiencea plusSuperior verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work independently or in a team environment effectively - The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environmentSalary Range:$85,000 - $90,000Eligible for Performance Based Bonus CompensationAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
