This is an excellent opportunity for nurses who are passionate about women’s health and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Whether you have prior experience in obstetrics and gynecology or are eager to grow your expertise in this specialty, we welcome your application.In this role, you will support patients across the continuum of women’s health care, including routine gynecologic care, pregnancy, and reproductive health concerns. You will assist with patient triage, care coordination, and education while working closely with OB/GYN providers and the multidisciplinary care team in a collaborative and supportive environment.Patient Assessment & TriageEvaluate incoming patient phone calls to assess symptoms related to obstetric and gynecologic concerns (e.g., pregnancy-related symptoms, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, infections).Provide telephone triage and guidance to determine urgency and appropriate follow-up or level of care.Care CoordinationAssist in coordinating urgent and routine care for OB/GYN patients, including prenatal care, postpartum concerns, and gynecologic conditionsCommunicate effectively with OB/GYN providers and clinical staff to ensure timely, safe, and comprehensive care.Patient & Family EducationEducate patients and families on women’s health topics, prenatal and postpartum care, reproductive health, treatment plans, and preventive care.Provide emotional support and resources tailored to individual patient needs and life stages.Clinical Documentation & Follow-UpAccurately document patient assessments, communications, and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR)Track patient outcomes, test results, and follow-up needs to promote continuity of care and positive health outcomes.Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in IowaExperience: All levels of RN experience will be considered. Prior experience in OB/GYN or specialty care is a plus, but not required.Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
