HealthDrive is seeking full-time Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team! The QA Specialist will assist in ongoing regulatory and compliance activities under the direct supervision of the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs. HealthDrive connects patients in need of vital healthcare to doctors committed to dignity and excellence.Quality Assurance: Coordinate coding and documentation reviews of patient medical records to ensure provider billing practices are compliant with applicable rules, regulations, and policies. Assess the accuracy, completeness, specificity, and appropriateness of diagnosis codes based on services rendered.Compliance:Assist with the assessment and implementation of educational materials.Communication:Communicate with providers, staff, and practice directors to provide feedback related to QA, including follow-up as needed. This may include coordination and participation in meetings with providers, staff, and directors and preparation of meeting materials (agendas, presentations, etc).Other duties and tasks may be assigned as appropriate or necessary.Skills & Specifications:This position requires a person to have the ability to work in a team environment by building and maintaining positive working relationships with providers and other corporate personnel. This individual must be a detail-oriented problem-solver, have knowledge of healthcare and medical terminology, and have excellent time management, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication.Education & Qualifications:This individual must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Prior experience in healthcare is highly preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel is essential. Clinical or certified coder background is helpful.
