Description: You will be the Quality Engineer Staff for the Quality Engineering Team. Our team is responsible for ensuring product sustainment quality across PACu20113 programs. What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer Staff you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and driving technical excellence in surveillance and corrective actions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + Lead a group of quality engineers and coordinate crossu2011functional collaboration with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers. + Facilitate the Surveillance Item process and present technical data and project status to internal and external stakeholders. + Analyze and resolve complex product and process issues, driving rootu2011cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions. + Conduct data integrity reviews, drive closure of nonu2011conformance reports, and support Corrective Action Board meetings. + Provide technical liaison support for quality engineering matters, including product failure investigations and material review board decisions. Basic Qualifications: u2022 STEM degree at the bachelors level or above from an accredited college in one of the following disciplines: Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience/combined education. u2022 Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance u2022 Previous quality experience in developing and reviewing quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures u2022 Demonstrated understanding of audit techniques u2022 Thorough understanding of engineering requirements and inspection methods u2022 Ability to interpret drawings and specifications u2022 Experience with control and disposition of non-conforming Material (Material Review Board) u2022 Experience solving complex problems associated with the quality of products and in Quality Management processes / capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems u2022 Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. u2022 Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with Technical Operations, Manufacturing, and all other stakeholders u2022 Demonstrated presentation skills u2022 Ability to travel (up to 25%) Desired Skills: u2022 STEM degree at Bachelors level or above preferred. u2022 Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certification u2022 Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration u2022 Effective communication skills: written, oral, listening, and presentation to senior leadership u2022 Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines u2022 Structured problem-solving skills, with demonstrated use of ingenuity and creativity u2022 SAP / ERP, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Tableau or other business intelligence software experience u2022 Strong familiarity with Production Operations and Product Lifecycles, and knowledge of other related disciplines u2022 Experience with Sustainment / Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) u2022 Experience with Proposals u2022 Experience with Program Office / Customer Interaction, preferably DOD u2022 An understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) u2022 An understanding of Configuration Management u2022 Experience with source inspection and surveillance activities at suppliers (including acceptance of product / testing) u2022 Thorough understanding in AS9100 and ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems as well as AS9145 Advanced Product Quality Planning u2022 Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment u2022 Earned Value Management System Cost Account Manager (EVMS CAM) certification u2022 Familiarity with requirements for handling and control of Government Furnished Equipment / Property during field, ground or operational tests Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
