What youu2019ll do: Eaton Corporationu2019s Global Energy Infrastructure Solutions group is currently seeking a Human Resources Intern to join our team. This position is a seasonal summer position based at our Sherman, TX facility. Position Overview: Eaton Cooper B-Line is seeking a motivated Human Resources Intern to support the employee-oriented tasks. The selected candidate will play a key supporting role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR siteu2019s processes. Through the engagement, orientation and recruiting support, the HR Intern will support the site in achieving its goals. This role involves collaboration with various departments to foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and improvement. Key Responsibilities: u2022 Provide functional support to the different department as a part of the Plant HR Team. u2022 Assist in recruitment efforts, onboarding, retention, record keeping and auditing. u2022 Assist in event planning, team member recognition programs, community outreach and other social programs. u2022 Participate in both targeted projects and broader programmatic initiatives related to HR in support of business objectives. u2022 Provide support and assistance to maintain strong, positive employee relations at all levels of the organization. u2022 Perform these and all other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements): + Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a junior or senior pursuing a B.S degree in Human Resources, Business Management, Business Administration or Psychology. + Minimum 3.0 GPA (please don't round) + Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications: + Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment and/or previous internship experience. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Detail-oriented with strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Skills: Position Criteria: u2022 Demonstrated proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. u2022 Presents self in a professional appearance and manner. u2022 Organized, efficient and able to multi-task. Strong project management skills required to support multiple projects simultaneously. u2022 Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues. u2022 Collaborative and team focused.
