Description We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join a thriving and well-established tax firm in Westlake Village, California. Responsibilities: u2022 Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses. u2022 Handle a diverse workload, focusing 70% on individual returns and 30% on business returns, including LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps. u2022 Manage approximately 700u2013800 tax returns annually with accuracy and efficiency. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely submissions. u2022 Communicate effectively with clients to address tax-related inquiries and provide guidance. u2022 Utilize ProConnect Tax Online (web-based Lacerte) for tax preparation when applicable. u2022 Maintain a high standard of organization to manage multiple deadlines during peak seasons. u2022 Support the firm's long-term objectives by contributing to ongoing client satisfaction and retention. u2022 Uphold confidentiality and integrity in all client interactions. u2022 Participate in team efforts to streamline processes and improve workflow. Requirements u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, including individual and business returns. u2022 Strong understanding of tax regulations affecting LLCs, S-Corps, and C-Corps. u2022 Familiarity with ProConnect Tax Online is preferred but not mandatory. u2022 Excellent communication skills for client and team interactions. u2022 Proven ability to manage high-volume workloads efficiently. u2022 Bookkeeping experience is a plus. u2022 Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. u2022 Commitment to ongoing growth and long-term career development.
