Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager with expertise in stock compensation to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in San Francisco, California, and requires someone with strong attention to detail who is capable of handling complex equity administration processes with precision. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing stock-related operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage daily stock administration tasks, including equity grants, exercises, and settlements, ensuring accuracy and compliance. u2022 Collaborate with HR and legal teams to coordinate stock-related matters and maintain consistent communication. u2022 Administer Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company policies. u2022 Ensure compliance with equity taxation regulations and oversee related processes. u2022 Develop and update stock administration policies and procedures to align with industry best practices. u2022 Work closely with finance and accounting teams to reconcile equity-related transactions and maintain accurate reporting. u2022 Utilize platforms like Equity Edge Online to enhance stock administration efficiency and streamline processes. u2022 Stay updated on trends and practices in the software industry that impact stock administration. u2022 Provide guidance to stakeholders on equity plans and regulatory requirements. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience in stock administration, preferably within the software industry. u2022 Strong understanding of equity plans, stock administration processes, and relevant regulations. u2022 Proficiency in using multi-state payroll systems and managing payroll operations. u2022 Familiarity with platforms such as Equity Edge Online for efficient stock management. u2022 Excellent communication and coordination skills for collaboration across multiple teams. u2022 Ability to work independently and manage complex processes with attention to detail.
