Event Design Lead

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Graphic Design Lead to work for a large corporate event-planning client, in support of one of their customers. This individual will be responsible end to end, event registration site buildouts, directly interfacing with the executive-level customer contacts throughout the duration of the role. The position will sit remotely, and the role is slated to last about 4-5 months while the permanent employee is out on Maternity Leave. Essential Functions: u25cf Collaborate with clients, their design teams, product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience u25cf Ability to use design artifacts to extrapolate a design style guide u25cf Communicates well and takes direction from client designers/ and their agencies u25cf Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering or printer u25cf Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks u25cf Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas u25cf Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders u25cf Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback u25cf Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards u25cf Design internal company communications Requirements: u25cf Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps u25cf Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction u25cf Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders. u25cf Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively u25cf Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies u25cf Familiarity working with clients of all sizes. u25cf Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. u25cf Detail oriented and analytical. u25cf Strong team player but still a self-starter. u25cf Thrives in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly.
