Electronics Technician

Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to be stationed on a client site in San Jose, servicing server systems. This role involves working at the board level, employing electrical and hand tools to troubleshoot, calibrate, and replace electronics and boards. The technician will also be responsible for providing updates and consulting with clients to deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities + Service server systems at the client site. + Work at the board level using electrical and hand tools. + Troubleshoot, calibrate, and replace electronics and boards. + Provide updates and consult with clients to offer solutions. + Document service reports and adhere to ISO standard calibrations. Essential Skills + Expertise in electronics troubleshooting and calibration. + Experience with board level servicing and equipment. + Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers and wrenches. + Ability to use electrical test tools including shunts and DMM. + Strong communication skills for client interaction and solution updates. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in documentation of service reports. + Familiarity with ISO standard calibrations. Work Environment The work environment is a service site located in San Jose, where the company services clients such as Apple and Tesla. The facility is small, with about 5 engineers and technicians focused on testing and quality procedures. The company values work-life balance, maintaining a 40-hour work week.
