Job Description

A well-established company in Hawthorne is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse Associate to support day-to-day warehouse operations. This is a hands-on role in a small, fast-paced environment and requires strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over the warehouse. Position Summary Responsible for all incoming and outgoing shipments, warehouse organization, inventory accuracy, and safe material handling. This role also includes local deliveries and requires someone who takes pride in keeping operations running efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse + Package and prepare fragile equipment for shipment + Receive and stock inventory; assign and track bin locations + Process inventory transactions and shipping documentation in ERP (SAGE100 preferred) + Prepare picking sheets, pack items, and calculate freight + Operate pallet jack and forklift to load and unload shipments + Maintain compliance with UPS, FedEx, and motor carrier shipping procedures + Perform routine inventory reconciliation and physical counts + Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization + Light facility maintenance (trash, basic cleanup, minor tasks) + Cross-train to provide backup support Deliveries / Pickups + Perform local customer deliveries and pickups as needed + Maintain company vehicle (cleaning, mileage logs, service scheduling) + Load and unload truck + Ensure proper paperwork accompanies all outbound items Additional Duties + Order warehouse, office, and shipping supplies + Return incorrect orders for credit + Review freight bills and assist with freight claims + Maintain required HAZMAT training + Enter purchase orders and follow up with vendors + Print and manage reorder reports + Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED required + Minimum 2 years of shipping and receiving or warehouse experience + Forklift and pallet jack experience required + Valid Driveru2019s License required + ERP experience preferred (SAGE100 a plus) + Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel + Strong communication and customer service skills + Detail-oriented, dependable, and organized + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment + Professional and takes pride in work Physical Requirements + Frequent lifting up to 70 lbs + Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and reaching required + Use of forklift or overhead crane for heavy loads + Close vision, depth perception, and ability to focus required Work Environment + Warehouse environment + Generally quiet noise level + Hands-on shipping and material handling operations Pay Details: $19.00 to $22.00 per hour Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Military connected talent encouraged to apply To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Massachusetts Candidates Only: It is unlawful in Massachusetts to require or administer a lie detector test as a condition of employment or continued employment.
