Job Title: Warehouse Worker Job Description Join our team as a Material Handler/Box Assembler and play a crucial role in preparing products for international shipping. You'll be responsible for assembling boxes, palletizing, and ensuring materials are securely packaged for transport. Responsibilities + Assemble boxes and prepare them for shipping. + Wrap pallets and ensure they are securely packaged. + Unload trucks and assist with loading finished products for shipment. + Review work orders and inspect materials for box construction. + Operate equipment such as hand wrappers and pallet wrappers. + Conduct quality checks to ensure boxes are free from defects. + Assist with loading and positioning bulk materials. + Clean work areas and maintain equipment at the end of the day. Essential Skills + Understanding and following safety protocols. + Experience in box building, pallet wrapping, or crate building. + Ability to load, unload, and transport materials securely. + Experience in palletizing and organizing materials for storage and transport. Additional Skills & Qualifications + OSHA 10 certification is preferred. + Experience in box or liner assembly, or similar fields like construction, roofing, or landscaping. + Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces. + Forklift operation skills. + Knowledge of chemical handling and safety procedures. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols. The position is on the 1st shift, running Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. While work is mostly indoors, note that trailers are not climate controlled. Be prepared to lift, move, and operate heavy tools in varying temperatures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Selkirk, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
