Adapts procedures to each patientu2019s medical situation, obtaining necessary information for proper interpretation. Demonstrates knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology. Calculates information accurately. Follows through with all details to ensure a smooth and timely flow of procedures. Documents, completes, and charge procedures to meet quality standards set by the department and hospital. Participates in Performance Improvement projects and proactively initiate process improvement ideas. Keeps supervisor informed and seek assistance from appropriate individuals when confronted with complicated procedures to ensure safe and effective patient care. Communicates abnormal findings to the reading physicians and notify them of procedures to be interpreted. Communicates with patients and family members appropriate to age and understanding. Manages time and equipment effectively and works as a team member to provide the best patient care. Receives instructions and guidance from the supervisors and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate. Other duties as assigned.
