Core Responsibilities + Ventilator Management: Expertly set up, operate, and monitor acute care ventilators for both short- and long-term mechanical support. + Advanced Intervention: Administer routine and high-complexity respiratory procedures across all patient age groups. + Clinical Autonomy: Function as a department leader during shifts, making critical decisions in the absence of a Team Leader. + Data Integrity: Maintain precise documentation within the EMR, ensuring therapy data is accurate and actionable for the interdisciplinary team. + Patient Advocacy: Partner with physicians and nurses to evaluate and adjust care plans based on real-time patient assessment. Qualifications + Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RRT experience preferred (Experienced CRTs with a track record in acute care are encouraged to apply). + Licensure: Active Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain). + Competency: Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital setting.
