Automotive Title Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Automotive Title Clerk to join an accounting department. This contract-to-permanent position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the automotive industry while advancing your skills in title processing and administrative tasks. The role requires strong organizational abilities and a commitment to accuracy, as you will handle a high volume of documentation and customer transactions. Responsibilities: u2022 Process titles and registrations for customer retail and lease transactions efficiently and accurately. u2022 Manage and track titles for out-of-state customers, ensuring proper follow-up and documentation. u2022 Handle the preparation and processing of resale titles. u2022 Generate checks for title batches, registrations, and license plates. u2022 Organize, mail, copy, and file paperwork related to retail and lease deals. u2022 Update title status and comments in the companyu2019s internal system. u2022 Issue refund checks to customers and ensure proper reconciliation of accounts. u2022 Maintain organized records and reconcile assigned accounts regularly. u2022 Collaborate with team members and assist with additional duties as needed. Requirements u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation. u2022 Strong organizational skills to manage a high workload effectively. u2022 Ability to work independently without constant supervision. u2022 A positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with a diverse team. u2022 Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications is advantageous. u2022 Previous experience in automotive title processing or a related field is preferred. u2022 Experience in a consolidated accounting office environment is a plus. u2022 Training will be provided for candidates without prior automotive title experience.
