Accounting Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Middlefield NT, Ohio. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to essential financial operations while working onsite in a dynamic and growing environment. The role is ideal for candidates with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. Responsibilities: u2022 Process and organize financial transactions with precision and attention to detail. u2022 Match vendor invoices to purchase orders to ensure accuracy and proper documentation. u2022 Manage customer credit card charges and verify correct processing. u2022 Enter vendor invoices into the system and assist in generating accounts payable reports. u2022 Support the Purchasing VP with various administrative tasks and financial data. u2022 Collaborate with the Controller to post inventory and sales batches accurately. u2022 Maintain organized records by filing all paid vendor invoices systematically. u2022 Prepare bank deposit slips and record customer cash receipts efficiently. u2022 Assist in the transition to D365 systems and ensure data integrity during the process. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Familiarity with QuickBooks and other accounting software. u2022 Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy. u2022 Experience in invoice processing and vendor management. u2022 Ability to work onsite and adapt to a fast-paced environment. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
