Facilities Technician

Job Title: Facilities Technician Job Description The primary role of a Facilities Technician is to provide comprehensive maintenance support for assigned buildings, ensuring their safety, security, and optimal condition. Responsibilities + Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. + Troubleshoot power, HVAC systems, controls, and mechanical systems. + Maintain general and preventative maintenance for carpentry, plumbing systems, and vendor management. + Replace lighting system bulbs and ballasts as needed. + Move office furniture, machinery, equipment, and other materials as requested. Essential Skills + Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively. + Basic knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. + 10 years of experience in a related field. + Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, and facilities maintenance. + Experience in building maintenance and preventive maintenance.
