Warehouse Lead

Job Title: Warehouse Lead 3rd Shift 18 - 19/hr Job Description Join our team as a Warehouse Lead, where you'll be responsible for overseeing warehousing operations at a large automotive company. You will work both independently and collaboratively, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently. This role involves delivering and returning parts, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities + Work in teams and independently to keep tasks on schedule. + Perform warehousing operations efficiently. + Run parts around the facility as needed using carts. + Deliver and return parts promptly. + Pull orders in a warehouse setting. + Unload packages upon arrival. + Load and unload shipments. + Learn to operate stand-up equipment. + Engage in a client-facing role, maintaining high safety standards. Essential Skills + Experience with forklift operations. + Solid background in inventory management and warehouse operations. + Proficiency in using computers, especially SAP and Excel. + Experience in industrial or manufacturing environments. + Valid driver's license without suspensions or revocations. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Ability to walk and be on feet for extended periods. + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based inside a General Motors facility in Toledo, operating within a 20-person team. The environment is a bustling automotive factory where safety is paramount. You will work alongside runners, forklift operators, warehouse staff, and management. The facility operates on a rotating schedule, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work experience. Expect to use carts, tuggers, and forklifts, and be prepared for a loud factory setting. Shifts available include 7-3, 3-11, and 11-7, with rotating weekends off. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
