Job Description An employer is seeking a Sr. Director, North America Operations in the Batavia, OH area. As the Director of North America Operations, you will develop and implement operational strategies, manage site leadership teams, drive performance metrics, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and industry regulations. The Director of Operations plays a critical role in scaling operations, enhancing customer satisfaction, and supporting business growth across all sites. In this role, you will be based in the Afton facility and oversee all daily North American operations to ensure safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity metrics are met. Reporting Structure u2013 This person will report directly to the VP, Global Operations. You will have two Director level peers (Sr Director, North America & Director, Quality) and 8 direct reports (3 Plant Managers, 3 Value Stream Extrusion Leaders, Manufacturing Leader, and Warehouse/ Logistics Leader. Total org comprised of about 400 people. Key Responsibilities: u2022u2003Maintain full site responsibility for the 4 US facilities. u2022u2003Functional responsibility for assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, and facilities maintenance. u2022u2003Identify overall business needs and develop strategic plans to satisfy those needs. u2022u2003Monitor the business performance throughout the year and initiate corrective actions where necessary to ensure the NA operations meets defined goals through metrics and common/best practices. u2022u2003Recruit, develop, and mentor site managers and key operational staff. u2022u2003Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. u2022u2003Ensure standardized processes and policies are implemented and maintained across all locations. u2022u2003Drive operational efficiencies through systems improvements, automation, and lean practices. u2022u2003Deliver customer satisfaction by continuous development and improvement in on-time delivery. u2022u2003Manage and optimize site budgets, P&Ls, and cost structures. u2022u2003Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate forecasting and resource allocation. u2022u2003Establish, track, and report on KPIs for all sites (e.g., safety, lead time, costs, OTD, quality, productivity). u2022u2003Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and best practices. u2022u2003Maintain a customer-centric approach by regularly evaluating service quality across sites. u2022u2003Implement initiatives to enhance satisfaction, retention, and brand loyalty. u2022u2003Monitor the business performance throughout the year and initiate corrective actions where necessary to ensure the NA operations meets defined goals through metrics and common/best practices.
