Director, Quality

Job Description An employer is seeking a Director, Quality in the Batavia, OH area. The role focuses on developing, deploying, and sustaining Quality processes, tools, methods, and training. Additionally, the role will report on Quality Performance and ensure all locations are driving improvements to meet challenging targets. This role will also be responsible for ensuring locations are compliant with ISO9001 standards. Reporting Structure u2013 Reporting directly to VP, Global Operations. 8 Direct reports (mix of quality managers and engineers). Total org comprised of about 25. Overseeing the quality leaders at each plant u2013 Mt Orab, McPherson, Atlanta Key Responsibilities: u2022u2003Manage and direct a small team responsible for global deployment and manage-though-influence large teams that are globally dispersed. u2022u2003Develop, maintain, track, and drive Key Metrics. u2022u2003Attract and retain superior talent. u2022u2003Utilize the Performance Management System to develop employees and ensure appropriate recognition and merit. u2022u2003Ensure new suppliers or new parts from existing suppliers can be qualified for production. u2022u2003Accountable for the effectiveness of the Milacron Quality Management System (QMS). u2022u2003Develop, deploy, train, and sustain common processes, tools, and methods. u2022u2003Develop and deploy Standard Work for your function. u2022u2003Use Continuous Improvement methodologies to improve effectiveness of your function. u2022u2003Report monthly performance data.
