Description We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Assistant to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this contract position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting office operations, facilities management, and basic technical tasks to ensure seamless functionality across the organization. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating exceptional organizational skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding internal support. Responsibilities: u2022 Coordinate and track office equipment setup, workspace planning, and inventory to ensure smooth operations. u2022 Manage procurement of office supplies and equipment to support organizational needs. u2022 Oversee business operations contracts for equipment, licenses, and software, ensuring timely renewals and compliance. u2022 Collaborate with vendors to facilitate purchases and set up workspaces efficiently. u2022 Maintain detailed records of IT assets, configurations, and support tickets for accurate tracking. u2022 Document troubleshooting processes and system configurations to streamline future support efforts. u2022 Generate regular reports on system performance, incidents, and IT activities for management review. u2022 Conduct audits to reconcile asset records and address discrepancies. u2022 Set up and configure computers, mobile devices, and other IT hardware to ensure operational readiness. u2022 Monitor and maintain network infrastructure to optimize performance and uphold security standards. Requirements u2022 2u20134 years of experience in operations or facilities management, preferably in the public sector. u2022 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. u2022 Strong interpersonal abilities and a customer service-oriented mindset. u2022 Proven organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively. u2022 Ability to navigate politically sensitive environments with discretion and attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences, including non-technical users. u2022 Familiarity with CMMS, Kronos Timekeeping System, and computerized maintenance management tools. u2022 Valid Washington State driveru2019s license and ability to work onsite five days per week.
