Job Title: Marine Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Marine Electrician. The candidate will be responsible for installing, operating, maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment. The role involves providing technical support for shipboard systems and integrated systems. Responsibilities + Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment. + Perform maintenance and technical support on shipboard systems and related equipment/software. + Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to resolve problems swiftly. + Interface with customers and manage subcontractors while providing work direction. + Develop and utilize technical documents, including controlled work packages and formal work processes. + Schedule, report, and brief customers and management. + Perform tasks outside of specialty to complete installations or work assignments. Essential Skills + Experience in marine and ship repair, including working with valves, electrical systems, hydraulics, and diesel. + High School diploma or equivalent, with 2 years of related experience. + Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing structural and mechanical systems and associated equipment. + Proficiency in using various power tools and measurement devices. + Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and technical manuals. + Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
