Description Our trusted client is seeking a Finance Manager / Senior Financial Analyst Consultant for a long-term engagement. This hybrid position is located in Detroit, Michigan and is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in financial analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights to support organizational leadership. The day-to-day responsibilities include: u2022 Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and support strategic decision-making. u2022 Oversee month-end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial results. u2022 Develop and maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and other key metrics. u2022 Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders, ensuring clarity and precision. u2022 Collaborate with leadership to provide data-driven recommendations for operational improvements. u2022 Evaluate and refine forecasting processes to align with organizational goals. u2022 Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards throughout all reporting activities. u2022 Utilize advanced analytical tools to streamline financial operations and enhance efficiency. u2022 Support leadership with valuable insights during budget planning and execution. Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skill set: u2022 Minimum of 7 years of experience in financial management or analysis with a strong attention to detail. u2022 Proficiency in month-end close processes and financial reporting. u2022 Strong skills in financial modeling and advanced analytical techniques. u2022 Demonstrated expertise in forecasting and budgeting. u2022 Experience working with municipal or public sector organizations is preferred. u2022 Solid understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Advanced proficiency in Oracle or similar financial systems.
