Team Leadership & Development: + Build Team Leader and Team Member capability. + Lead and manage hourly personal development. + Communication and recognition. + Create a conducive work environment for the team(s) to complete their assigned responsibilities/tasks. Operational Excellence & Daily Management: + Coach Safety, Quality, and Productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work. + Responsible for the daily material handling functions for the facility and the department. + Ensure proper material flow from the marketplace to the production line feed location. + Provide direction and support in the allocation of resources to appropriately cover material handling responsibilities. + Monitor and react to Andon occurrences. + Thorough Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts. Continuous Improvement & FPS Support: + Support Continuous Improvement and coach problem resolution to the lowest level. + Support Ford Production System and synchronous material flow through lean manufacturing practices. Supervisory & Administrative Tasks: + Basic administration of supervisory responsibilities and documents. Candidates must possess full flexibility and a readiness to consistently work across all established standard, operating, and rotational shift schedules, encompassing day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. Youu2019ll Needu2026 + High School Diploma or GED + 2 + years of working experience in a material handling position in a manufacturing plant. + 2+ years of lean logistics/ material handling improvement project experience. + 2+ years of experience in system audits (e.g., process, safety). + Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, constraint management principles, logistics planning, and management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook). + Familiar with ERP system background logic (SAP, MES, LES, etc.) structure.
