The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling components and products according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met throughout the process. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to assemble products accurately. + Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to perform assembly tasks. + Inspect parts and finished products for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. + Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols at all times. + Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. + Report any issues or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel promptly. Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to read and understand technical documents and instructions. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. + Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with tools and equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Basic knowledge of electrical or mechanical systems. + Familiarity with HVAC components or similar equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot minor assembly issues independently. + Experience with soldering, wiring, or brazing techniques. + Competence in using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers). + Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement practices. Work Environment Work in an indoor manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and moderate noise levels. The environment requires wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). The position is for the 1st shift (5am - 3PM, Monday through Thursday) with mandatory overtime on Fridays, including 4 hours of overtime. The facility is temperature-controlled, well-lit, and family-oriented. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Milwaukee, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
