Job Title: Medical Assembler Job Description Join our team as a Medical Assembler, where you will primarily work in the cleanroom environment, starting in the coiling department. You will be responsible for winding and wrapping coils around a spindle, inspecting and manipulating wires using microscopes, and assembling medical components such as stints, catheters, and leads. This role requires adaptability, as you will be cross-trained in various assembly areas to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities + Operate coil winding machines and assemble medical components. + Inspect and manipulate wires using microscopes for quality assurance. + Sit or stand for extended periods during the coil winding process. + Participate in cross-training across multiple assembly areas, including molding, CEA assembly, laser welding, and implantable housings. + Utilize small hand tools such as pliers, filers, tweezers, and wrenches. + Work with automated presses and stamping machines in the implantable housings area. + Ensure high attention to detail and hand dexterity when performing assembly tasks. + Adhere to written work instructions to maintain quality standards. Essential Skills + 4-6+ months of medical manufacturing experience or small part experience. + 4-6+ months of microscope experience. + Experience in cleanroom environments and assembly processes. + Proficiency in catheter, laser welding, and coil winding techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Mechanical inclination for working with machines in the housings area. + Good hand dexterity, beneficial for tasks requiring precision. + Adaptability and openness to cross-training in different assembly areas. Employees are encouraged to wear athletic hijabs and skirts with leggings for safety compliance. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.78/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment.
