MIG Welder

Job Title: MIG Welder 1st shift - $25-$30/HR Job Description As a MIG Welder, you will perform MIG welds on 18 gauge to 1/2 inch mild steel. You will fabricate and weld parts and assemblies for pavement maintenance equipment, safety railings, and other pavement machine components. You will primarily perform butt and fill welds, as well as grinding and finishing as needed on parts. Responsibilities + Perform MIG welds on mild steel of varying thicknesses. + Fabricate and weld parts and assemblies for pavement maintenance equipment and safety railings. + Execute butt and fill welds and complete any necessary grinding and finishing on parts. + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Work Environment The work environment is a large warehouse setting where Plymouth Industries fabricates and assembles equipment for the industrial roofing industry. The majority of materials are mild steel, alongside outsourced piece parts like motors, pneumatic, and electronics. Workstations are clean and organized, providing a structured and efficient workspace. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, MN.
