Weekly Pay Shift/Pay: + 6AM to 6PM + 4 days on 4 days off + Pay: $20 to $24/hr Responsibilities + Conduct inspections, measurements, and testing of manufactured products using standard inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. + Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on extruded aluminum products, and document inspection results. + Collect, prepare, and analyze data to present recommendations and findings to shop floor, leadership, customers, and executives. + Act with initiative, urgency, and agility to leverage available resources to support the manufacturing operation. + Manage customer quality rejects, return material authorization, nonconforming material control, disposition, root cause analysis, and corrective actions. + Advise and assist manufacturing, engineering, sales, and customer service teams and leadership on best practices, regulatory, and customer expectations. Essential Skills + Experience in quality inspection and control, using tools like calipers and micrometers. + Manufacturing experience and knowledge of product testing in a high-volume environment. + Basic computer skills. + Knowledge of industrial standards such as API, ASTM, & ASME. + Ability to work as a team member within a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with metallurgical testing in a laboratory environment. + Participation in corrective action teams and performing root cause analysis. + Training and development of individuals in metallurgy and quality process techniques. + Supervisory skills in ad-hoc situations. + Troubleshooting basic equipment issues. Work Environment The work environment is a non-climate-controlled industrial aluminum processing facility. The position is part of a team under one department manager and two quality technicians, operating on a day shift (6am-6pm) with a 4 days on/4 days off schedule. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
