Maintenance Supervisor

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor Job Description: We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment, including motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Responsibilities: + Training, delegating, and advising tenured and new mechanics + Implementing preventative maintenance schedule + Holding daily meetings with mechanics to identify objectives + Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Conduct preventive maintenance following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and engineering specifications. + Adjust, calibrate, and program equipment, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and other control systems. + Ensure compliance with safety standards during high-voltage electrical work and other complex repairs. + Lead a team of mechanics, ensuring their daily tasks are assigned and completed efficiently. + Provide technical guidance and support to team members to address complex maintenance challenges. + Assist in the training and onboarding of new mechanics, ensuring team skill development. + Collaborate with supervisors to create and manage work schedules, balancing maintenance priorities with production needs. Essential Skills: + Maintenance supervision + Blueprint reading + Repair and electromechanics + Servomotor and PLC troubleshooting + Familiarity with PLC, servo motor, robotic packaging equipment, and food manufacturing equipment + Must have led, supervised, or managed teams of 5+ Knowledge of pneumatics, PLC control, HMI, and high voltage systems Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bayonne, NJ.
