Job Description

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join our team in Castleton, Indiana. In this contract role, you will play a key part in managing human resources programs, policies, and services that support the organization's goals and ensure compliance with employment regulations. As part of a 3 month contract, you will collaborate with various departments to attract, retain, and develop talented individuals while maintaining essential HR systems and processes. Responsibilities: u2022 Oversee all phases of the recruitment process, including developing strategies and facilitating hiring efforts. u2022 Collaborate with department managers to determine staffing needs and create accurate job descriptions and qualifications. u2022 Manage the organization's HR information system (Paycom) to ensure personnel data is accurate and accessible. u2022 Coordinate and maintain compliance programs, such as random drug testing, in partnership with the Safety Department. u2022 Draft and post job advertisements across relevant platforms, including online sources and educational publications. u2022 Lead and participate in candidate screening and interview processes alongside managers and stakeholders. u2022 Build relationships with external organizations like colleges and employment services to support recruitment efforts. u2022 Organize and attend career fairs to proactively source candidates for current and future openings. u2022 Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, milestone recognition, and conducting exit interviews. u2022 Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies. Requirements Requirements: u2022 Proficiency in data entry and managing HRIS systems, including Paycom. u2022 Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations at federal, state, and local levels. u2022 Experience with recruitment strategies and full-cycle hiring processes. u2022 Ability to create detailed job descriptions and qualifications tailored to organizational needs. u2022 Skilled in using Microsoft OneNote and other productivity tools. u2022 Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and external stakeholders. u2022 Familiarity with coordinating compliance programs, such as drug testing initiatives. u2022 Previous experience attending and facilitating career fairs or similar recruitment events.
