Job Title: CNC Machinist Job Description We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. This role involves operating and setting up CNC machines, ensuring quality through inspections, and performing secondary tasks such as cleaning and packing parts. Responsibilities + Edit G code for machine operations. + Set up for new runs, typically 1-3 per shift. + Use digital micrometers for quality inspections. + Understand and apply basic GD&T principles. + Read and interpret technical prints. + Possess knowledge of basic shop math. + Operate a HAAS vertical machine or a Northwood router. + Perform secondary tasks including quality checks, cleaning parts, and packing parts. + Lift up to 70 lbs using a crane. Essential Skills + 3-5 years of CNC setup experience. + Ability to read and interpret technical prints. + Proficiency in using micrometers and gauges. + Knowledge of G code. + Physical ability to lift 70 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with machine troubleshooting and changeovers. + Competency in machine operation. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is a clean manufacturing facility without climate control, which can become hot. Hours are available on the 2nd shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM and the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, with training provided on the day shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM for 4-6 weeks. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of South Bend, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $62400.00/yr.
