Low Voltage Installer

Description TEKsystems is seeking skilled Commercial Low Voltage Installation Technicians to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings, including security systems, audio and video systems, telecommunications equipment, and other low voltage devices. Responsibilities: u2022 Install, maintain, and repair low voltage electrical systems in commercial settings. u2022 Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. u2022 Install and program security systems, audio and video systems, telecommunications equipment, and other low voltage devices. u2022 Troubleshoot and repair low voltage electrical systems, including identifying and correcting wiring and connectivity issues. u2022 Ensure compliance with local and national electrical codes and regulations. u2022 Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time. u2022 Maintain accurate records of work completed, including time and materials used. u2022 Provide excellent customer service to clients and ensure their satisfaction with the work performed. Requirements: u2022 High school diploma or GED required, associate degree or technical certificate in a related field preferred. u2022 Minimum of 1 years of experience installing and maintaining low voltage/electrical systems in commercial settings. u2022 Knowledge of local and national electrical codes and regulations. u2022 Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. u2022 Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. u2022 Excellent communication and customer service skills. u2022 Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
