Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician III Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Industrial Maintenance Technician Level III to join our team in a full-time, onsite role at our Tempe facility. The role involves working Monday to Thursday from 5:00 am to 3:30 pm. As a Maintenance Technician III, you will perform skilled maintenance, repair, and facility support work across various trades, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry. This position requires the ability to troubleshoot equipment, perform preventive maintenance, manage contractors, support facility remodel projects, and maintain accurate repair and inventory records, all while operating with limited supervision and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders. Responsibilities + Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems for issues. + Diagnose and repair equipment promptly using proper parts. + Perform and record preventive maintenance. + Plan and schedule repairs for equipment and building needs. + Maintain equipment and supply inventory. + Conduct general maintenance including electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry. + Serve as the point of contact for facility and grounds remodel projects. + Mentor other technicians. + Support safety initiatives with a safety-first mindset. Essential Skills + High school diploma or equivalent. + Ability to work with high, low, and control voltage (120vu2013480v). + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. + Ability to read electrical schematics. + Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience. + Strong understanding of building maintenance and contractor oversight. + Effective project management and problem-solving skills. + Strong English communication skills. + Highly organized, self-directed, and able to prioritize. + Aerial lift experience or willingness to certify. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with CNC machines (2 to 5 axis), UV flatbed printers, industrial paint booths, and similar equipment is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work takes place in a small production and warehouse facility, which is climate controlled. You will be exposed to noise, moving parts, heights, chemicals, weather conditions, and electrical hazards. The role requires standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, using tools, and working in confined spaces. The schedule is primarily day shifts from Monday to Thursday with flexible start and end times, allowing most Fridays to Sundays off. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tempe, AZ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
