HR Specialist

Description We are looking for an experienced HR Specialist to join our team in Belcamp, Maryland. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to key human resources functions, ensuring smooth processes and compliance with policies. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless transition for new and departing staff. u2022 Coordinate with candidates and new hires to facilitate pre-employment requirements and provide necessary resources. u2022 Act as a liaison between managers and internal departments to support efficient HR operations. u2022 Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations, including HIPAA standards. u2022 Support benefits administration processes, addressing employee inquiries and maintaining accurate records. u2022 Utilize HRIS systems, such as ADP Workforce Now, to manage employee data and generate reports. u2022 Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, fostering positive employee relations. u2022 Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings and screening candidates. u2022 Maintain accurate documentation and records to support HR audits and reporting requirements. u2022 Contribute to the improvement of HR processes and workflows to enhance efficiency. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in human resources administration, preferably within a regulated industry. u2022 Proficiency in HRIS systems, with experience in ADP Workforce Now preferred. u2022 Strong knowledge of onboarding and offboarding processes. u2022 Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and other compliance standards. u2022 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. u2022 Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments. u2022 Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. u2022 Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
