Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: u2022 Must be able to use a high level of abstract reasoning to assess patient, evaluate interventions, and revise plan of care according to patient outcomes. u2022 Basic computer skills u2013 must be able to navigate Microsoft windows based programs. u2022 Must be fluent in English (read, verbal and written skills). u2022 1 year of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting. u2022 Equipment use to stabilize and monitor patients (IV insertion, central lines, pulse ox, NG tubes, Foley, chest tubes, hemodynamics monitoring), including electronic medical record and automated dispensing medication system (pyxis).
