Description We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our client's team in Beaverton, Oregon. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to oversee payroll operations for a dynamic organization within the scientific instrument manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to manage payroll processes in a multi-state environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage biweekly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. u2022 Conduct thorough audits before and after payroll runs to verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies. u2022 Collaborate with HR and timekeeping teams to ensure accurate time and attendance records for payroll calculations. u2022 Maintain and update payroll procedures and documentation to uphold compliance and operational standards. u2022 Process employee onboarding and terminations, ensuring seamless payroll transitions. u2022 Reconcile payroll records with benefit reports and timesheets to ensure accurate payments. u2022 Address payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide timely resolutions. u2022 Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in all payroll activities. Requirements u2022 Demonstrated experience managing full-cycle payroll operations. u2022 Proficiency with multi-state payroll processing. u2022 Hands-on experience with ADP u2022 Ability to handle payroll for organizations with over 500 employees. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
