Eatonu2019s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Entry Level Production Assembler- 1st Shift at our Wilsonville, OR location Shift Hours: 6am - 3pm Monday - Friday. Overtime may exceed these hours and can be mandatory at times. The hourly rate for this position is $21 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions. In this function you will: u2022 Perform assigned function from verbal and/or written instructions, drawings, blueprints, schematics, or other manufacturing information. u2022 Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages. u2022 Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes. u2022 Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly by performing 5S+ duties and continued dedication to raising the bar. Qualifications: Required (Basic) Qualifications: u2022 No relocation offered. Candidates must reside within 50 - miles of Wilsonville, OR in order to be considered. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. Preferred qualifications: u2022 High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution. u2022 Experience in electrical assembly or a manufacturing setting preferred. u2022 Preferred experience using various tools, including Manual/electric/pneumatic tools, drill press, press brake, fork truck, jib crane, template/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, storage/packaging materials and prescribed safety equipment.
