Director of Accounting

Description My client is a law firm that has a great opportunity for someone looking for a role as the Director of Accounting for their organization which is based in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate selected for the Director of Accounting position will be responsible for overseeing the accounting department operations, supervising AP and AR specialists, assist with producing monthly reports, lead the month-end close process, reconcile various accounts, assist with audits providing necessary support schedules, support relevant tax issues, help with the annual budget and support the CFO with other duties as needed.
